Message	Proving all that will be extremely difficult. What happened to you sucked. Was he negligent, yes, but to what degree? I have lost wrenches in my engine before and never found them again. They fell in places IMPOSSIBLE to recover from. Maybe he tried, or didn't try at all to get that old clamp out. Who knows but I think your stuck here. Good luck man...
